Mrs.
Langsdale joined us in the
summer of 2008. She comes
to us from Georgia where she was
the fulltime administrator of
both Shoal Creek Adventist
School in Sharpsburg and Carman
Adventist School in Marietta.
She
earned her BS in Elementary
Education from the University of
Pittsburgh at Johnstown in 1978.
She continued her studies,
completing her MA in Religious
Education from Andrews
University, Berrien Springs,
Michigan in 1981. She
served as a
teacher/administrator at the
Jackson, Michigan Adventist
School for four years. In
1985, she returned to graduate
school, completing her MDiv in
Christian Education at Ashland
Theological Seminary, Ashland,
Ohio. While completing
this degree, she worked as dorm
counselor/teacher at Ashland
Academy, a boarding high school
for underachieving gifted
students. She spent the next 16
years working as a teacher of
the gifted/grant
coordinator/administrative
consultant in the public sector
in South Carolina and Florida.
In 2000, she moved to Denver,
Colorado as a 4th-5th grade
teacher at Wood Adventist
Christian School. The
following school year she became
the principal of that school.
In 2004 she became the teaching
principal of Shoal Creek
Adventist School. In July
2007, she added Carman Adventist
School to her administrative
duties.
Mrs.
Langsdale and her husband, Mike,
have two children, Christy and
Michael. |
